Les Premiers Vendredis. The first Friday of every month, starting at 4PM. Secteur 300 of the Olympic Park, Montreal. First Friday events bring together the leading street restaurants in Montreal, hosted by Les Restaurateurs de Rue du Québec. On the first Friday of the month, the vans and trucks converted into mobile kitchens will meet in Secteur 300 to serve their food in the first part of this of street food integrated initiative in Montreal. Apple Train and Pumpkin Train Escapades. Every Saturday through to October 13th, 2012. Prices and orchards visited vary. Suzanne Husseini, Modern Flavors of Arabia book signing. October 13th, 2012, 2PM. Au Pied de Cochon Apple Season. Through October 14th, 2012. 11382 Rang de la Fresniére, St-Benoit de Mirabel. $50 per person. The extremely popular Au Pied de Cochon Sugar Shack is back for apple season! The website says they are fully booked and no longer taking reservations, but I suggest if you are keen you put your name on the waiting list as spaces often come up.
