Here’s the round up of food and beverage events in Quebec for November. Check back often as we will update as we become aware of new events

Taste of Montreal.  November 1–11, 2012.  Various restaurants.  Explore various restaurants around the city offering meals at set prices. A great way to visit some of the pricier restaurants in this city.

Les Premiers Vendredis, Hallowe’en. Friday, November 2nd, 2012, starting at 4PM. Secteur 300 of the Olympic Park, Montreal. First Friday events bring together the leading street restaurants in Montreal, hosted by Les Restaurateurs de Rue du Québec. Don’t miss this special edition of “Les Premiers Vendredis” where your favorite food trucks will be all dressed up and giving out candy, alongside your favorite truck foods!

Montreal Passion Vin. November 2nd & 3rd, 2012.  Hilton Montreal Bonaveture Hotel, 900 de la Gauchetière Street West.  Tickets from $1000 – $2500.  Tastings, a lunch and a grand banquet for the Maisonneuve-Rosemont Hospital.

La Grande Dégustation de Montréal.  November 8–10, 2012.  Palais des Congrés de Montréal.  $15 – $30 depending on ticket.  A wine and spirit tasting event, featuring Portugal as the country of honour this year.

A special bread baking class with Nick Malgieri. Thursday, November 15th, 2012, 6:30pm. Appetite for Books, 388 Victoria, corner Sherbrooke St. W., Montreal. $120 includes signed book and a full meal. If you are a Nick Malgieri fan, this event is for you. Nick Malgieri has published a new book “Bread”, and you guessed it: it’s all about understanding and mastering bread-baking. At this evening event, spend the evening with Nick Malgieri who will be showing you that there is nothing scary about bread -baking. He will also demonstrate a few fantastic recipes made with day-old loaves.

Book signing with Nick Malgieri. Saturday, November 17th, 2012, 2pm. Appetite for Books, 388 Victoria, corner Sherbrooke St. W., Montreal. $35 includes signed book, hors d’oeuvres, glass of wine. Nick Malgieri’s new book “Bread” is all about demystifying the bread-making experience. Join in for an afternoon book signing that also includes a bread-baking demo.

La Fête des Vins du Québec. November 30th, December 1st and 2nd, 2012. Marché Bonsecours, Montreal, Qc. Ticket option A is $12 and includes entrance, 1 glass, and 12 coupons, while ticket option B is $20 and includes entrance, 1 glass, and 25 coupons. This event, formerly known as Le Salon des Vins et Fromages du Québec à Montreal, is a tasting event where you can discover, sample, learn about, and buy  wines and cheese from Québec producers.
