Food Festivals & Events

Andrew Garlic Festival, 13 October 2012, Andrew, AB. Tickets $3 per person. Rocky Mountain Food and Wine Festival,  October 12th and 13th, 2012. Stampede Park BMO Centre, Hall D & E, Calgary. Wine and food lovers are invited to indulge at the 15th annual Calgary Rocky Mountain Wine & Food Festival. The Festival will feature a wide array of world-class wine, premium spirits, import and micro-brewed beer, and an assortment of local culinary creations in a fun, social, and relaxed atmosphere. Culinary Treasure Hunt, 13 October 2012, Calgary. You can compete against the city’s fun foodies and be crowned Culinary Cowboy/Cowgirl and win prizes. You’ll get a list of destinations, perform crazy fun things and take pictures to earn points.  The team with the most points wins.  9 a.m. launch party at Casel Marché. Register at culinarycalgary.ca — $20 per team, proceeds to Brown Bagging for Calgary’s Kids.

Ranchmen’s Club’s Pastry Chef Showcase, 21 October 2012, Calgary.  The Pastry Chef Guild of Alberta and L’Arche Calgary team up to bring you the sweet life. It’s a great opportunity to stuff your face with the best that some of our finest pastry chefs have to offer in support of L’Arche Calgary and scholarships for SAIT baking and pastry arts students. We believe that life is short, you should eat dessert first.  This is your best opportunity to eat dessert and nothing but.  There will be good bread, cheese and wine, too. Wine/Beer/Spirits Festivals

Whisky in the Warehouse – Auction Week, 31 October 2012, Calgary. Spend Halloween at Willow Park Wines & Spirits this fall by raising a glass or two of the water of life.
