Why did you start your blog?
In 2009 I was hired by Tourism Montreal to promote the Montreal culinary scene. I started to write a daily “food tip of the day” on social media. Instead of posting all that content direct to Facebook or Twitter I decided to create my own space for it.
How did you decide on your blog name?
Since I’m also a TV host, I chose a name that relates to me, that way, if one day food doesn’t do it for me anymore (which I really doubt!), I could use my blog for other content.
What do you blog about?
My restaurant highlights and travel discoveries.
What post on your blog most encapsulates you?
Which post do you wish received more love and why?
My yearly food trends list. It takes a very long time to research and write!
Which post’s success surprised you and why?
My test about Parisian macarons. I compared La Durée, Fauchon, and Pierre Hermé. I just did for fun when I was visiting Paris and it turns out that it is my second most visited blog post!
What’s your biggest challenge as a blogger?
I used to publish 4-5 food tips a week. Now as new mom doing 2 demanding jobs, I wonder how I’m going to be as productive…

What’s your Favourite FBC Feature?
I really liked the Google Analytics: The Valuable Metrics for Food Bloggers. Between bloggers, we don’t really talk about numbers and stats. Lot’s of really interesting info in that blog post.
