Twitter Party! Celebrating Ontario Apples! #ONAppleADay

This post is in partnership with Ontario Apple Growers.

Having fresh Ontario apples always being in season is worth celebrating and that’s why we’re hosting a Twitter Party with the Ontario Apple Growers! Even though Fall is typically associated with apple season, fresh and juicy apples are always readily available in Canada. In Ontario alone, there are over 230 apple farmers that annually produce around 13 million bushels of apples!

Thanks to modern science and technology, farmers and apple packers are able to carefully store apples from the harvest season and have #ONappleAday always taste like Fall!

One of the best things we do now with our kiddos – go apple picking in the fall and make apple goodies all year. Even through the ‘picky’ years, our son has always loved apples!

  23. Doug Balsillie March 22, 2017 at 12:49 pm #

Farmer Doug would be happy to give a grower’s perspective. We have Canada’s most southerly orchard, and love to grow and eat apples. We also make and infuse apple cider vinegar and are looking for recipes with ACV.
