Cocoa Steak Rub
- 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder
- 2 tsp. sweet paprika
- ¼ tsp. smoked paprika
- ¼ tsp. cayenne pepper
- 1 tsp. brown sugar
- 2 tsp. salt
- To make the mixture, combine the ingredients in a small bowl
- Before searing or grilling steak, massage the meat with this spicy-sweet rub.
Cook's note: These proportions work for about 2 pounds of meat. If you have rub left over, store it in an airtight container for future meals.
