BBQ Turkey and Lentil Burger

Ingredients
  • ½ kg Canadian ground turkey thigh
  • 1.5 cups of cooked red lentils
  • ¼ cup of Bick's chopped Sweet Pickles
  • ½ cup blue cheese
  • 1 egg
  • 1 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1 teaspoon onion powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 1 teaspoon cayenne
  • 6-8 slices of Brie cheese
  • Fried Egg
  • Sautéed Mushrooms
  • Roasted Garlic Mayo
  • Bick's Tangy Dill Sandwich Savers
Instructions
  1. Add turkey and lentils in a large mixing bowl.
  2. Add chopped pickles, blue cheese, egg and spices.
  3. Combine everything well with your hands.
  4. Form mixture into 6-8 patties, cover and place in fridge for 30 minutes.
  5. Ensure your BBQ is on medium to medium-high heat and oil the grill.
  6. Grill the burgers for approximately 8 minutes per side.
  7. Add the cheese for the last minute on the grill.
  8. Add your fixin's and bon appetit!
