Blueberry Cacao Green Smoothie

Serves: 1
  • 1 cup spinach leaves (or romaine, butter lettuce, kale, arugula, etc.)
  • ¾ cup fresh or frozen blueberries
  • ½ - ¾ cup water or non-dairy milk
  • ½ an avocado
  • 2 tbsp hemp seeds
  • 1 tbsp cacao powder, or 1 tsp cocoa powder
  • Optional add-ins: nut butter, coconut oil, coconut butter, protein powder, sweetener to taste
  1. Add all ingredients to a blender and blend until smooth. Taste. If the smoothie isn't sweet enough, blend in some maple syrup, raw honey, or a Medjool date.
