Beer Pancakes

  • 1 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • 3 teaspoons baking powder
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 ¼ cups beer
  • 3 tablespoons vegetable oil
  • ¼ teaspoon Vanilla
  1. Heat up a griddle or pan
  2. Mix the dry ingredients together well in a large bowl
  3. In a smaller bowl combine the egg, beer, vanilla and oil
  4. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry and mix until just combined
  5. Add a small amount of oil or butter to the pan and allow to heat up
  6. Ladle a small amount of batter into the pan and let the pancake cook until it's bubbling well on the top - then flip it over so the other side can brown - repeat until you've used up all your batter
