The fourth annual Food Bloggers of Canada Conference, FBC2016, will be held between October 21 - 23, 2016 at The Delta Toronto in Toronto, Ontario.
FBC2016 is Canada's only national conference for food bloggers. It's a fun, intimate event for bloggers, brands and speakers alike. We focus on:
- providing professional development for our members and other interested bloggers
- an intimate atmosphere (we only have space for 150 people) to foster blogger to blogger and blogger to brand networking
- great food
- fun!
2016 is a Year to Celebrate!
September 2016 marks FBC's 5th anniversary and we'll be celebrating our birthday over the following 12 months. We can't wait! It's a great opportunity for us to renew friendships and partnerships and celebrate our amazing food community. We hope you'll be a part of it!
FBC2016 Ticket Sales
Tickets for FBC2016 have SOLD OUT. You can still add your name to our waiting list via Eventbrite.
This year our conference format is changing. Saturday will now be a day of intimate workshops (you will need to make some choices on which to attend!). Sunday will be all general sessions for the entire audience.
Ticket pricing and info is as follows (**taxes are not included and prices and content are subject to change):
Pre-Conference Food Photography Workshop - $175-$300
10am-2pm, October 21st
Instructor: Dennis Prescott

Conference Pass Holder: $175
Non-conference Pass Holder: $300
Lunch will be included.
This is a hands on workshop with a well known, professional Canadian food photographer and stylist. You will need a DSLR, or P&S camera or a well-equipped smartphone. Tripods are recommended. The focus will be split between styling and photography. You will be on your feet and active throughout the session.
Pre-Conference Farm Tour Trip - Free (Limited seats available)
9am-3:30pm, October 21st
This is a sponsored FBC2016 tour by Farm & Food Care Canada.
Due to limited seating being available, please ensure that you are able to attend before signing up.
Conference Only Pass - $449
Pass includes the Friday evening cocktail reception, Friday night dinner, Saturday night dinner, breakfast and lunch on Saturday and Sunday, the keynote address, Saturday workshop sessions, Sunday general sessions, conference SWAG bag and the Sunday afternoon one-on-one blogger/brand networking session. There is no hotel accommodation with this pass.
Double Occupancy Pass - $699
You will receive everything in the conference only package as well as two nights hotel accommodation at the Delta Toronto in a double occupancy room. You will either be assigned a roommate or you can request to room with another conference attendee.
Single Occupancy Pass - $899
You will receive everything in the conference only package as well as two nights hotel accommodation at the Delta Toronto in a single occupancy room (one bed). You will not have a roommate but you may bring a spouse, partner or friend to share the room. Please note, spouses and partners will not be able to attend any conference events or meals without a conference ticket.
Sponsored Blogger or Industry Professional - $699
This pass is for bloggers who are attending under the sponsorship of a brand or company who is not an official FBC2016 sponsor (your sponsor should be approved by the Conference committee prior to purchase). It is also for PR professionals, brand representatives or service providers who are not officially affiliated with FBC2016.
***Please note, in order to respect the generous contributions our official sponsors make to ensure our event is a success, anyone purchasing this ticket will be asked to respect and follow a set of conduct guidelines regarding product or brand promotion during the conference.

Day Passes - $150
Due to changes in the conference format this year, Day Passes will only be released for Sunday Oct 23rd at this time. They include breakfast, lunch, the Sunday general sessions and the SWAG bag. They do not include the on-one-one afternoon networking session.
Saturday day passes may be made available in September if the conference hasn't sold out.
