FBC also presented our members with the opportunity to try a new line of Summer Fresh dips and use them to create an original recipe.  The folks at Summer Fresh were very impressed with your creativity and today we are happy to bring you a post from the blogger selected by Summer Fresh as having the most original recipe - Angela from Eat, Spin, Run, Repeat.

I've always been a fan of Summer Fresh, ever since the day I tried their hummus at a potluck barbeque with some of my friends. When I learned that Food Bloggers of Canada had an exclusive members-only opportunity to try out the company's new Greek yogurt dips, I jumped at the chance. I love Greek yogurt for its versatility, taste, and nutrition profile. In my kitchen, it goes into everything from marinades for chicken to fruit and yogurt parfaits and smoothies.

After requesting some samples, I soon received the dips and couldn't wait to start creating as many recipes that incorporated them as I could. I came up with several, but the requirement for the contest was that there could only be 4 ingredients. I'm more of a 14-ingredient kind of girl, so this was tough! Initially I planned to use the Jalapeno dip in my creation, but it was so good that it 'disappeared' within about 30 minutes of being brought into my house! After a little bit of planning, I narrowed my list of ingredients down to just the essentials, which included Summer Fresh Cucumber and Garlic Greek yogurt dip.

My final creation was Cucumber Garlic Salmon Patties, and they were super simple to make.
