Every week we pull together some great Canadian recipes from Canadian food bloggers around the web featuring one main ingredient or dish. When you're entertaining during the holidays it's a must to make sure you have some festive non-alcoholic drinks on-hand and we've got 7 of them for you.

7 Alcohol-Free Holiday Drink Recipes | Food Bloggers of Canada

Everyone loves a fun, festive holiday cocktail to kick off a party.  But a good host knows it's just as important to have something booze free that's equally delicious and festive to sip on! Don't force your guests who choose not to drink to settle for a boring diet soda or sparkling water.  Not when we can do so much better than that!

If You Want To Keep it Simple

If you want to keep things simple make a big batch of non-alcoholic punch that guests can serve themselves. A virgin Sangria is a great one to make.  Use seasonal fruits like cranberries, citrus fruits, apples, pears or pomegranates, mixed with sparkling water and some citrus juice.  Add in some cinnamon simple syrup or a spiced simple syrup to give it a winter aroma.

You know we love our simple syrups here and you can make these ahead of time in just minutes.  Get creative with winter flavours.  You can add them to sparkling water, hot herbal teas or hot chocolate for more easy options.

Make an effort with glasseware and garnish just like you would for alcoholic drinks.  Sliced lemons, limes, mandarin or tangerine pieces or cranberries on skewers, cinnamon sticks, rosemary sprigs and fresh mint are all easy to prep.

And here are more ideas with these 7 non-alcoholic drinks for holiday entertaining this winter!
