Throughout January we will be running our 31 Day Blog Challenge: 31 days to clean up, grow and improve your blog. What better time than the start of a new year to get things sorted and ready to go for a brand new year of blogging?
We'll be sharing 31 tips, ideas, and strategies for you to get things in order and make blogging easier. This is Day 31.
Where does the time go? Here we are on the last day of January which means the 31 Day Blog Challenge is coming to an end. Judging from the reaction, this series struck a chord with many of you. Every day, we've begun with a promise that we would provide 31 days of tips to "clean up, grow and improve your blog" and we hope we did. But as we've seen over the last month, your blog is so much more than an "http" address.
We tackled visible things like making sure your contact information was easy to find and making sure your sidebar is looking its best and taking up only the space it needs to. And of course, there is all the magic that happens behind the scenes, so we wanted to ensure you back-up all that great content of yours!
Being a blogger is not just about blogging, it's so much more. That word community is always thrown around and maybe too often, but there's truth to that! Making friends from all over the place is one of the great benefits of food blogging and sometimes all it takes is a simple "hello."
All 31 tips, nudges and ideas are easy to implement or learn and they really don't take much time. A little time and effort can go a long way to make your blog the best it can be!
As the final piece of the puzzle, we're actually linking back to an old post that continues to get traffic. We know there are many FBC members who proudly display the FBC badge on their blog and for that we thank you! But with new members signing up daily, it continues to be seen and used as a resource. Not only for an FBC badge, but the same principles apply for any badge! So on the final day of the 31 Day Blog Challenge, we're leaving you with an opportunity to add a little extra FBC-flavour to your blog!
You made it to 31! High-five!
