FBC2015

FBC2015, Canada's only national food blogging conference, will be happening from October 23-25, 2015 in Montreal, QC.

This is an intimate conference focused on helping Canadian food bloggers grow their blogs and their businesses through professional development training, while also giving them ample opportunity to network with sponsors, speakers and their fellow bloggers over the course of the weekend.

We are looking for enthusiastic, well spoken, knowledgable speakers who can engage our audience and are excited to openly share their experiences and knowledge.

Call For Speaker Submissions

From March 2, 2015 to March 27, 2015, we are inviting interested individuals to submit an application to speak at FBC2015.

We are looking for practical sessions that will help our attendees take their blogs to the next level.

The key focus of all sessions, workshops and panels should be actionable, key takeaways that our attendees can put into practice right away and see results.

We emphasize networking as a significant component of all FBC conferences and as such, we ask all speakers to be in attendance for the full conference.

What Will You Get Out of Speaking at FBC2015?

Speaking at FBC2015 gives you the opportunity to connect with Canadian food bloggers, brands and other speakers.  We encourage active networking at our conferences and you can expect to meet and engage with an enthusiastic group of attendees.

All speakers will receive the following:

  • the choice of a single or double occupancy conference pass with access to all conference sessions
  • either pass will include two nights hotel accommodation at Le Westin Montreal (Oct 23rd and 24th)
  • passes will include all meals and snacks, including dinners, from Friday evening to Sunday lunch
  • the FBC2015 Swag Bag
  • a small honorarium

Speakers are responsible for their travel to and from FBC2015. Access to pre-conference workshops is not included and may be purchased separately.

While prior speaking experience is not required to speak at FBC2015, you must be able to demonstrate that you are an authority in your chosen subject matter. Besides the information submitted in the application form, you may also submit portfolios, session slides, reels, client referrals and any other supporting documentation to melissa@foodbloggersofcanada.com.

Other Things You Should Know

While we appreciate the interest of everyone who applies, there is a very limited number of spots available and, as much as we would love to, we can't accept all submissions.

There is a very strong possibility that there will be multiple submissions that reference the same topic.  We are not responsible for duplicate submissions, ideas or suggestions, nor do you retain the sole rights to your idea once submitted to FBC.
