Smile, snap and tag to win! All FBC participants* are invited to post their favorite pics from the conference and around the city in one or all of the categories below.

NOTE: You must post at least one photo from each of the three categories and include BOTH of the following hashtags to be eligible to win the Grand Prize: #FBC2015 AND #MTLMoments

Category 1: MTL à TABLE Montréal’s hugely popular restaurant week, MTL à TABLE, will be right around the corner! Post a shot from outside one of the over 150 participating establishments or something related to the restaurant week theme #MTLaTable. Check out mtlatable.com website for the list and locations of restaurants. There are 50 participating restaurants within walking distance of Le Westin Hotel.

Category 2: Iconic Montréal foods Part of Montréal’s joie de vivre culture includes iconic foods like the smoked-meat sandwich, bagels fresh out of a wood-fired oven, the guilty pleasure of poutine, steamies (hot dogs), a flaky croissant,  a frothy café au lait or even the sublime sweetness of maple treats. Post pics of your favorite local foods, beverages and establishments!

Category 3: Snap a selfie Grab your selfie stick and say “fromage”! Snap a few selfies, alone or with friends, anywhere at the conference or in front of well-known Montréal attractions and features.

Contest period The FBC2015 MTL Instagram Treasure Hunt begins at 6 am Friday, October 23 and closes at 11 am on Sunday, October 25. Winners will be announced just before lunch on Sunday, Oct. 25.

How winners will be chosen: A panel of three judges chosen will select the Grand Prize winner based on originality, creativity, respect for categories and general appeal. Remember, entries must include BOTH hashtags: #FBC2015 AND #MTLMoments. Judges will also award, at their discretion, three “Honorable Mention” prizes consisting of Montréal souvenirs or gourmet goodies. *Sponsor representatives are welcome to participate in the treasure hunt only from their personal Instagram accounts, not their company accounts.
