Monthly Winners With Janes and Arla
The first news of November means… time for October winners!
First up we have free product vouchers from our Weekly News Sponsor, Janes Family Foods, for one randomly drawn member. Random.org brought up member 616 which is...Portuguese Girl Cooks! Congrats Jessica. Melissa will be in touch for your mailing details.
Next up we have $25 in gift certificates from our Featured Member Blog sponsor, Arla foods. This goes out to one of October’s Featured Member Blogs and we had four Featured blogs last month. Random.org chose…#1 - She Bakes Here Congrats Jessica – Melissa will be in touch shortly for your mailing info!
***Editor's note - we mistakenly drew and published a random draw from all members for the the Arla foods Featured Blogger coupons. This has been corrected with a drawing from all the Featured Bloggers of October.
We’ll have more November winners the first week of December!
Grey Cup Party Roundup (ALL MEMBERS)
Our Thanksgiving and Halloween Roundups have been so fun and so successful that we're going to do a Grey Cup Roundup! That's right, we want your best Grey Cup Party dishes, tips, and hotspots. Chili, wings, dips... anything that pleases a hungry sports party crowd. Got a great spot in town to watch the game? Let us know about it.
Pinterest For Your Blog Workshop (VANCOUVER)
On November 30th we will be hosting what we hope is the first of several Pinterest workshops across the country. Our first all day workshop will be in Vancouver at the beautiful Network Hub on Richards Street. You can read all the details on Pin for Success: Leveraging Pinterest for your Blog and Brand here, along with links to purchase tickets. We hope to see lots of you there! (PS: FBC Members get a $10 discount on their ticket!)
Sharpen Your Knife Skills (ONTARIO)
For those of you looking to sharpen up your knife skills, FBC Member Alexa Clark is hosting a knife skills evening on Wednesday November 6th with Cooking with Cutco.
Alexa has worked with Cutco to design a hands-on training session which will take you beyond the basic slice and dice. You will learn skills and knife techniques in 3 main areas - basic butchery, prep and garnish, along with proper knife care and knife selection.
Seats are limited but you can register here.
