We're excited to announce the speaker lineup for the FBC Great Canadian Road Trip!  The incomparable Dennis The Prescott will be riding shotgun with us for the entire trip, teaching and talking about food photography along the way.

The rest of our special guests will be joining us at different stops across the country to share their knowledge and expertise with attendees

Join us at one or many of the stops along The Great Canadian Road Trip as we travel from coast to coast to bring the FBC experience to as many of you as we can!

Dennis Prescott in the Kitchen

Dennis Prescott - Cross Canada

Dennis Prescott is the man behind the wildly successful Instagram account DennisThePrescott, where he showcases the bright, bold food photography that has earned him a global following. A former musician, he still travels the world to cook with others and to find the stories of how food brings us all together.

Dennis is the author of Eat Delicious and has been featured in magazines such as Esquire and Edit and has cooked with Harry Connick Jr and many, many chefs around the globe!  He spends his down time at home in Moncton, NB.

Dennis Prescott will be joining the FBC 2018 Great Canadian Road Trip for the entire tour so no matter which event you choose to attend, you'll have the opportunity to learn about food photography from him!

Ethan Adeland - Cross Country

Ethan is the co-founder and Managing Director of Partnerships of Food Bloggers of Canada where he works hard to create mutually beneficial campaigns for Canadian food bloggers and FBC's brand partners.

Having lived all across Canada, speaking both official languages and working with some of the most recognizable brands in Canadian food and agriculture , he has tremendous appreciation for the diversity of this big country and how food ties us all together.  He currently lives in Vancouver and is learning pottery with the goal of being able to fill a dinner table with his own creations!

Melissa Hartfiel - Cross Canada

Melissa Hartfiel is the co-founder and Managing Director of Content Creation for Food Bloggers of Canada where her mandate is to promote,support and grow Canadian food blogging talent both in Canada and around the world.

A graphic designer, illustrator and writer by trade, Melissa has relied on her creative skills to earn her living for the past decade through her design company Fine Lime Designs.  She chronicles her adventures with food, photography and her creative life with her blog, Eyes Bigger Than My Stomach.  Melissa lives on the west coast, just outside of Vancouver, with FBC's Chief Morale Officer, SamTheDog, too many mystery novels and sketchbooks full of food doodles.

Lisa Bolton - Vancouver Stop

Lisa Bolton is a freelance food writer, recipe developer and the creative mind behind the successful blog Lisa Dawn Bolton, a space dedicated to thoughtfully presented and wholesomely prepared meals and recipes.

Lisa holds a masters degree in business and has just finished her first cookbook, On Boards, with Penguin Random House coming out October 2018.  She is a regular contributor to Food Bloggers of Canada and authors both the On Board in 20 and Food Styling 101 columns. She lives in BC with her husband and son.

Denise Bustard - Canmore Stop

Originally from Smithers BC, Denise started her food blog Sweet Peas & Saffron as a creative outlet while going to grad school. With a lot of hard work, she was able to grow her blog from a hobby into a full fledged career.

After struggling to find time to prepare healthy meals for her family during grad school, Denise re-focussed Sweet Peas & Saffron to the type of recipes that helped her family out: meal prep recipes. Striving to help others who want to learn how to meal prep, Denise encourages her readers to take action through meal prep challenges, which run multiple times per year.

Denise lives in Calgary with her husband and two boys.

Denise Bustard

Jennifer Cockrall-King - Canmore Stop

Jennifer Cockrall-King is a food writer who lives in the Okanagan Valley, BC.  She is the food columnist at Eighteen Bridges magazine, and has been published in Cottage Life, Western Living, enRoute, WestJet Magazine, Maclean's, NUVO, and Reader's Digest among others.

She is the author of two books. Food and the City (2012) has been translated into French, Japanese and Korean. Food Artisans of the Okanagan won Best Culinary Narratives at the 2017 Taste Canada Food Media awards.

She has rececently co-authored a cookbook on progressive Indigenous cuisine which will be published by House of Anansi in 2019, and is currently working on a book about seed banks around the world.

Karlynn is a busy mom of two, wife, and bestselling cookbook author who loves creating fast, fresh meals for her little family on the Canadian Prairies. She has been blogging since 2009 and currently makes her living doing so.

Dana Harrison’ s love of great food is only matched by her love for tasty design. She’s been working as a professional graphic designer and illustrator for 20 years. Pailin Chongchitnant - Halifax Stop

Pailin is the creator of the YouTube channel Pailin's Kitchen, the author of the Hot Thai Kitchen cookbook, and a Gusto TV cooking show host.

Pailin was born and raised in Thailand, and came to Canada to study Nutritional Sciences at the University of British Columbia. She was later trained as a chef at Le Cordon Bleu San Francisco.
