We've got lots going on this week - news here, a new Allergen Friendly Recipe Remix, a great articles coming your way on writing and recipe developing for special diets, more Restaurant Roundups, the ever popular and fun Pin It Thursday and, of course, our Friday featured blogger and Sunday Weekly Menu Plan!
Chefs For Oceans
Keep an eye out in your city this summer as Ned Bell, Executive Chef at the Four Seasons Hotel Vancouver and Yew Seafood + Bar, cycles across Canada on behalf of Chefs For Oceans to promote awareness of sustainable Canadian seafood. The trip stops in every major Canadian city (and some smaller ones!) with lots of events happening along the way to celebrate sustainable seafood.
We're very proud to be a sponsor of Chefs For Oceans and Chef Bell's journey and we've been sending out FBC correspondents along the way to report back on everything that's happening. You can check out some of the great events that have happened so far:
- Halifax, NS with Suzie the Foodie's "Chef Ned Bell At East Coast Outfitters"
- Charlottetown, PEI with My Island Bistro Kitchen reports on Chef Bell at Inn at Bay Fortune with Chef Michael Smith.
- St. John , NB with Bridget's Green Kitchen
You can see when Chef Bell will be stopping in a city near you and we encourage you all to get out to an event if you can or just give him a wave and a cheer as he cycles through - it would make his day!

McCormick's Online Cookoff wraps up this week and you have until 5pm ET on July 25th to create a tasty recipe with one of their new Filipino spice mixes. Enter your recipe into the Online Cookoff and you could be eligible to win the $2000 Grand Prize!
