I’ve spent a lot of time sharing insights about how to create content and products that appeal to Millennials lately. But, I’d be remiss if I didn’t point out that this young and fun cohort isn’t the only target market in town. Baby boomers offer another huge opportunity since they want content, products, recipes and food products that serve their particular needs, too.
Although they may have been born before colour television, boomers think of themselves as current, modern and anything but old. They also have more disposable income than any other demographic in Canada which means that they are a desirable market for writers and advertiser’s alike.
So, before you settle on writing for millennials, reconsider and think about how you can serve this demographic with healthy recipes that serve their particular life stage that includes more time for entertaining and experimenting than ever before.
