Gift Idea: Muskoka Brewery’s Moonlight Kettle Mailing Club

Everybody loves to find that perfect, unique gift for everyone on their list this time of year.  It can be a tough slog sometimes, battling bad weather and crowded parking lots.

But, if you're in Ontario and you have a beer lover on your list, then you will love the new Muskoka Brewery Moonlight Kettle Mailing Club.  Subscription beer services aren't new but this one has a great twist to it that makes it unique.

The Moonlight Kettle Mailing Club is a project that Muskoka Brewery employees take part in after hours.  Muskoka team members volunteer to join their brewers to create, name and brew their own beer - the result is 12 completely unique, special brews!

Each beer is a limited edition and was previously only available at the brewery.  But now, Ontario residents can sign up for the Moonlight Kettle Mailing Club and receive a six pack each month of one of the limited edition brews.  The subscriptions are available in 6 month (39.99/month) and 12 month (34.99) terms.  And like the brews themselves, there are only a limited number of subscriptions available!

We love this unique idea of Muskoka employees getting to create their own beers and here are the brews lined up for 2017:

•  January: Dunkel Calls the Kettle Black, Munich Dunkel with Cherry (5.2%)
•  February: Raspbeery Coco Lait, Chocolate Raspberry Milk Stout (5-6%)
•  March: Sweet Shiver, Eisbock brewed with Grape Must (9%)
•  April: Which Way to the Birch?, Imperial Pilsner with Birch (7.5%)
•  May: Hazed and Confused, Vermont Style IPA
•  June: Dingo Drank My Beer, Australian Sparkling Ale (5-5.5%)
•  July: Summertime Siesta, Dry Hopped Session Kettle Sour (3.5%)
•  August: Genuwine Blonde, Blonde Ale fermented in Chardonnay Barrels (4.5%)
•  September: Seasons Change, Saison with Raspberry and Lavender (6.5-7%)
•  October: Break It Down Brown, Sour Brown Ale (6-6.5%)
•  November: Howling Gale Scotch Ale, Scotch Ale with Date Sugar (This beer is not barrel aged)
•  December: The Portley Gentleman, Porter with Vanilla and Cinnamon (6%)
