What a perfect way to kick off 2015! We're excited to be co-hosting a Twitter party with the folks at Half Your Plate! Join us on January 15th at 9pm ET for a chat on the importance of filling half your plate with fruits and veggies, the best way to accomplish that, great prizes and lots of fun! HALFYOURPLATE_twitter Filling Half Your Plate with fruits and veggies is something everyone can get behind and do with a little help! It's a new healthy living initiative to encourage more Canadians to improve their health by thinking about their food consumption. Fruits and veggies can and should be integrated into every meal and snacks, so we'll be chatting about the importance of eating fruits and vegetables with creative ways to get them into your daily routine, at home, school, work, eating out or wherever you happen to be! We'll also be joined by nutrionist (RD) Zannat Reza of Food For Happiness.

$500 in Prizes!

Up for grabs during the Twitter party will be the following prizes:

  • Five (5) - $50 Grocery Gift Cards
  • Grand Prize of one (1) $250 grocery Gift Card

Depending on where the winners live in Canada, they'll be provided a gift card to a grocery story that is available in their city.

To be eligible to win a gift card prize, you must RSVP (below) and tweet at least once during the party with the #HalfYourPlate hashtag. The winners will be announced throughout the party and be asked to contact Food Bloggers of Canada by Direct Message on Twitter.
