I’m sharing a recipe that’s been in the family for a while. It was my Grandma’s recipe first; it’s such a fond memory for me because my Grandma was the one that shared with me a love of baking. I got the recipe in a book my Mom compiled for me after my Grandma passed away two years ago this Christmas. I’ve played around with it a bit and made it my own. It was originally a bar recipe and I love the individuality of a cookie which prompted a major rewrite of the original recipe and brought it into the form it’s in today. I hope you enjoy it as much as we do!
