We're going to dive right in this week with our food news.  Oh, and Happy Canada Day this Wednesday! Break out the red and white!

TastyTurkey FBC2015 Winner

This past Thursday we hosted the #TastyTurkey twitter party along with Turkey Farmers of Canada, one of our two Platinum Sponsors for FBC2015!  As always it was a really fun twitter party with lots of great tips and recipe ideas to enjoy turkey all summer long (BBQ'd turkey anyone??).  But one of the most exciting moments of the evening was announcing the winner of the Grand Prize - a full conference pass to FBC2015 in Montreal this October, including accommodation.

Big congrats to Ashleigh Grange for winning the grant prize! We're very excited to meet you this October in belle Montreal!

And stay tuned for more FBC2015 Sponsor announcements later this week!

New Happy Belly E-Book

Agata from Costco Diva has just published a new e-book.  Many people don't realize that gluten-free doesn't mean boring or bland food. It also doesn't mean giving up on some of our favorite desserts such as pâte feuilletée, otherwise known as puff pastry. A puff pastry recipe, plus cream puffs, tarts, cakes and much more are available in her new e-book, Happy Belly: 25 of My Most Popular Gluten-Free Desserts and is only available through iTunes.

FBC Hits Up Banff Lake Louise

FBC Weekly News for June 29, 2015
BBQ Flank Steak Tacos from Park Distillery

Last week we had a fun opportunity to host a group of FBC members from Ontario on the #MyBanffFBC Press Trip in conjunction with Banff Lake Louise Tourism.  There was a lot of mountain climbing, hiking, biking and, of course, eating and drinking.  The group had a chance to visit the brand new Park Distillery Restaurant and Bar, check out menus at Sleeping Buffalo, Block Kitchen + Bar, Juniper Hotel and Bistro, Cliff House Bistro and the Fairmont Banff, as well as tour the Banff Avenue Brew Co.

You can check out all their photos by searching the #MyBanffFBC hashtag on twitter, Facebook and Instagram. Thanks very much to Banff Lake Louise for looking after the whole crew so well.
