Every week we pull together some great Canadian recipes from Canadian food bloggers around the web featuring one main ingredient or dish.  This week we're sharing lemon recipes - both sweet and savoury!

Lemons: 35 Sweet & Savoury Recipe Ideas

This post is brought to you with the support of Taste U.S/U.S. Food & Beverage Alliances as we celebrate citrus season! You can follow them on twitter.

It's citrus season and continuing on with our month long salute to citrus (check out our orange recipe roundup for more ideas), this week we're all about the lemon.  We could make jokes about life giving you lemons but honestly, a basket full of lemons will make any cook or chef very happy!  They add zest and brighten the flavour of any dish.  They work well in sweet and savoury dishes and they pack a vitamin C punch to help ward off nasty winter colds.  So put a big, bright bowl of lemons on  your kitchen counter and zest them, slice them and squeeze them with every meal!
