Every week we pull together some great Canadian recipes from Canadian food bloggers around the web featuring one main ingredient or dish. For Saint Patrick's Day, we didn't just go green, we actually went Irish all the way with 18 St Patrick's Day recipes that either include Guinness, are green or originated in Ireland.

"Green, how I want you green," reads the famous poem by Spanish author Federico García Lorca. He didn't write such a piece thinking of St. Patrick's Day, of course, but it is a great fit for this roundup, isn't it?

At this point, aren't we all ready to embrace the "green" in life? Spring, plants, blooming flowers and, of course, four-leaf clovers that mean one thing and one thing only: That we are super lucky because warmer days are rapidly coming our way.

Besides appreciating all-things-green, we also want to celebrate the cultural tradition of St. Patty's Day with real Irish dishes that incorporate some Guinness, potatoes, and even baking soda (Yes. Just keep reading). From stews to Irish cream dessert shots and -obviously- chocolate-bathed treats, you'll be saying "how ya?" when you finish browsing and, hopefully, making some of these amazing recipes.
