Do you recall your first Twitter friend, your first blog friend or the first online blog person you met in "real" life? Some of our very best friends came to us through social media and if it wasn't for this wacky world we live in, we'd have never met them. These people are such a constant in our lives now, it's easy to forget how we all met. As we countdown to tickets going on sale this coming Friday, April 10 for our third annual FBC Conference in Montreal later this year, Oct. 23-25, we thought the timing couldn't be better to launch what we hope are monthly Twitter chats around a particular theme.
The theme for this chat will be Community and anyone and everyone is invited to join in and participate. There is no RSVP required and no prizing, simply a chance to chat in a big group and connect with new friends and old acquaintances. It will last 30 minutes and we'll ask a handful of questions to get the chat going and we hope it's the first of many!
We'll also talk about our upcoming conference in Montreal, but we can let you know right now of something very exciting! To make up for the high sales tax in Quebec, we will be offering a 1-day Super Early Bird on April 10th!
